On Saturday, we woke up a little late, had my shower, dressed, and then went to the kitchen, where Amy took care of it. I then went to the chair in the living room and watched TV. Alex was heading out till Sunday, so he got a gentleman to handle me, Mike. He was great and lifted me for everything. At around 2:30, Barry & Paula Oretsky make a stop to spend some time with me. They had lunch, I had my shakes, and they left around 4:00. Later, Helaina came by for dinner. After I sat in the living room until 9:00, Amy asked Mike to take me to the bedroom. Mike lifted me and put me on the bed. Then Amy went back to the living room and continued watching TV with Helaina.
Sunday was an early day since the grandkids were coming over. Mike put me in the chair we are using for the shower and got me into the bathroom. Then Amy showered me, took me back to the bedroom, and Mike got me dressed. We then went to the kitchen and had breakfast with Amy. Alyssa, Adam, Teddy, and Benny came by when I was done and stayed for a couple of hours; those grandkids are amazing! My brother and his wife also came by; they love Teddy and Benny. Adam and Alan went to the new bathroom and put something behind the toilet to prevent it from sitting back too far. When they left, Amy gave me my lunch, and then I watched TV until dinner time. Alex came back around 6:00, and Mike left. Amy went to McDonald’s to get me some hamburgers and mixed them so I could eat them; it was so good. Had some ice cream, then used the syringe to take the Doxy and RSO. Then I went to bed.

Monday, we got up a little late, Alex took me to the bathroom, and Amy showered me. When we were done, she took me to the bedroom, and Alex helped me get dressed; it was 11:00. Amy gave me breakfast, and when we were done, they gave me prune juice (hopefully it would work – it did). I went to my office, and shortly after, Amy went out to buy some things with Alyssa. I had lunch at 4:00 in my office. Alex was going to the physical therapy at 5:00 and then planned to stop by McDonald’s for my dinner; it was good. Amy then brushed my teeth, went to the bathroom, and then got into bed. I stayed up until Alex’s mom came by (he was going to her house for the evening), and then Amy gave me my medication at 10:00, and I went to bed.
I can no longer brush my teeth; my hands are getting weaker (my right hand and arm are really bad, and I cannot reach my head), and I am having more trouble sitting up. At night, I wake 3 or 4 times and cough.

Tuesday was an early one. Alex came by before 8:00 and got me to my bathroom, and Amy showered me. Then Alex dressed me and moved me to the kitchen for my ‘lovely’ breakfast. After I used the bathroom, I went downstairs to get in the chair and got in the Jeep. Then, we drove to the gallery, arriving a little after 11:00, and went to my office. When I arrived, they opened a box that contained Maple Syrup from the Hammonds. Alex gave me lunch at 2:00. Today, my mouth feels somewhat dry, which is good and bad. At about 4:00, Lance first injected me with the B-12, and then I had a message with Alex, and by 5:00, we were heading home. When we got home, Helaina picked up the Mexican food that Amy had ordered, and she spent a few hours at our home. My food was too liquid and I had trouble eating it. Then I had ice cream and fed the Doxy and RSO through the feeding tube, after Alex helped me get into bed. Watched TV for about 2 hours and went to sleep.

Wednesday was also early, and Alex took me to the shower (Amy showered me). When we were done, she took me to the bedroom and Alex dressed me (it is amazing what he does, he puts my socks, underwear, pants, and shirt. Then he takes care of my nose, hair, and glasses.). Then he took me to the kitchen and gave me drugs and shakers. I went to the bathroom, and then we headed for the car. I got on the chair and it stopped. I’m not sure what Amy did, but in the end, she had to return it to the firm that had installed it. Alex and I stayed home. At 2:00, I had my lunch, and then I continued to remain in the office. Alex was going to the physical therapist, so before he left, they moved me to the kitchen for dinner – spaghetti and meatballs, and ice cream (not sure when I will stop eating ‘food’). Then Amy gave me drugs and RSO in the feeding tube, and brushed my teeth using Munkcare. Alex was back and got me on the bed, did some stuff on the forehead, and I was asleep in about an hour. I woke up a few times and am experiencing difficulty swallowing.

Thursday, we got up at 9:15 and went to the bathroom; it was successful. Then Alex put me in the chair for the shower, and Amy took care of me. When we were done, Alex dressed me and took me to the kitchen for breakfast. After that, I went to the office and worked. Amy was heading to Alyssa’s home to pick up Teddy to take her to a show, and Kathy came over. At 2:00, Alex gave me lunch and two drops of RSO, and I used the urinal 3 times. Kathy left around 3:30, and I stayed in the office until about 6:00. Amy was picking up Chinese food, but in the end, I couldn’t eat my food. After that, I got my ice cream, RSO, and Doxy, brushed my teeth, and went to bed.

Friday got up at 8:00, showered, got dressed, and went to the kitchen for breakfast. Then I went to the bathroom and made my way downstairs to get to the car. We stopped by a woman selling two Cortès paintings (which we purchased) and arrived at the gallery around 1:00. I got my lunch at 2:00, and at 3:30, Alyssa gave me the B-12s in my arms.
