On Saturday, I woke up at 10:20 and we went to the new bathroom. I first used a new wheelchair for the bathroom. I sat on the toilet, but it wasn’t secure. Hopefully, the guys will come back on Monday and fix it. Then Amy and I went to the shower, which was much better than the previous shower. I used the sink to brush my teeth, which was fine. After Alex got me dressed, and took me to the kitchen for breakfast. When finished, he took me to my office, where I continued working. I had lunch in the office and stayed there until we had dinner with David and Randi; they showed up with Italian food. After I finished my food, they took me to the dining room as we played Scrabble; I won! Sadly, my ability to use my hands is getting weaker and weaker. I went back to the kitchen to have some ice cream, took all my drugs, and then went to the bathroom to brush my teeth (also very difficult). Then I got into my bed, and Alex was leaving for the night.
On Sunday, I woke up around 9:30 and needed to use the bathroom. Amy tried to get me up, but was not successful. When I lay back down, I had a bowel movement in bed. Amy used wipes on me, and we waited until Alex showed up to take me to the bathroom. Then Amy removed the sheets from the bed and washed them. After Alex and Amy moved me to the shower, Amy took care of me. It was about 12:30 when I got to the kitchen, and Amy handled the drugs and shakes. After she went outside to bring in a box containing a couple of things for me to scratch my head (I was having trouble using my hands to reach my head), and a grabber to help me pick up things I dropped. I went to the office and worked for a while. At 3:30, Amy brought in my lunch. Had dinner a bit later, and waited until after 9:30 to take the drugs and RSO. Then Alex and Amy took me to bed.

Monday, Amy gave me the Radicava around 8:00. Then, Alex and Amy brought me to the shower, and Amy took care of it. Once we were done, Alex came back to the bedroom and got me dressed. Then we went to the kitchen for my daily breakfast. Once I was done, Alex took me to the office. I worked for a little while and then moved to my chair in the living room. Later, Tom, a respiratory specialist, came in to give me a couple of mask options. At about 4:00, Bill came by for physical therapy. Then, while he was here, Alyssa, Adam, Teddy, and Benny came by (those kids are amazing); they stayed for about an hour and then went to my brother’s home for the Jewish New Year; Amy also went. Alex and I stayed in the house. Around 7:00, Amy returned with a large amount of food. After I finished everything, they took me to the bedroom to try the lift, but it was working, so Alex had to pick me up and sit on the edge of the bed. Then they used towels to move me to the proper place on the bed. I finally went to sleep.
Tuesday, we got up at 8:00, and Amy did the Radicava. Then I went to the kitchen and waited an hour for the drugs and shakes. The guys came in to finish the bathroom. I went to the office to do some work, and then my parents came over and stayed for about 45 minutes. When they left, Amy injected B12s into my legs, then I returned to the office, and Amy went to Staples to purchase a new desk chair—one that does not lean back. Got it around 5:00 – Alex and Amy switched my old chair for the new one. We had dinner (I was having trouble eating and biting the inside of my mouth), then I brushed my teeth (also having trouble, and biting the inside of my mouth), and then went to the bedroom, where they used the lift. I watched some TV and then went to sleep.

On Wednesday, Amy got up at 7:30, gave me my Radicava, and at about 8:40, Alex took her to the train so she could get to the gallery. When Alex came back, he first took me to the bathroom, and I had success. Then we went to the kitchen, and Alex took care of my drugs and shakes. After he finished his breakfast, we went to the new shower. He not only washed me, but he also shaved me, cut my hair, and dressed me in the bathroom. Once we got to the bedroom, he cut my hair more; it was perfect when he finished (he used the vacuum to get rid of the hair that was on my shirt and pants). Then I went to the office to work, and he arrived around 3:00 for lunch. Amy was taking the train and should be back before 5:00. Alex was going to the physical therapy, so Amy ordered Italian food for him to pick up after his session. After dinner (which was very difficult for me, as I was biting my mouth), I tried to brush my teeth with a child’s brush, but it didn’t work. Then, they helped me into bed using the lift. I watched some TV, and had a lot of coughing and gagging.

On Thursday, we had planned to go to the gallery, but it was raining, so we stayed home. Amy decided to go to the Jeep service station, and I went to the kitchen, where Alex gave me my breakfast. When she returned, she told me that they were unable to fix the issue because of the new chair – I do not care. After they took me to the bathroom, Amy got me in the shower. When finished, Alex came in and shaved me again, then got me dressed, and took me to the office. Amy went to have lunch with Randi, and at 3:00, Alex gave me lunch. I must tell you that this guy is amazing! At 5:30, they took me to use the breathing machine for 30 minutes. Then, Alex stopped by McDonald’s to get me some burgers that Amy mixed. After that, I had ice cream, RSO, and tried to brush my teeth, but it didn’t work. When I was done, they took me to the bathroom and then the bedroom, and used the lift to help me into bed.

Friday, Amy did my Radicava, Alex took me to the bathroom, and Amy showered me. When we were done, Alex helped me get dressed and took me to the kitchen to make my breakfast. After I went to the bathroom, I made our way to the car. Sadly, the new chair caused my left knee to hit the door (not a big issue, but not fun). We then headed to the gallery and got there around 11:40. Lance and Neil came down to help get on the scooter (my right arm is really weak, and I had trouble maneuvering it). When we arrived at the gallery, Hammond was already there. It was great to see him. At 2:00, I had lunch with Alex.
